WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- DC Police are investigating the overnight shooting of a teenager in Southeast.
Metropolitan Police officials confirm a 16-year-old boy was shot in the abdomen in the 200 block of 37th Street around 1:19 Wednesday morning. Paramedics transported the boy to a local hospital where he is expected to recover.
Right now police have no information to release on possible suspects or motive in the shooting.
