Hilary Costa is an associate editor with Platts' North American power group. She previously held positions as a general news reporter at the Contra Costa Times, in California, and at the Idaho Statesman in Boise.
She was a 2008 recipient of SPJ's James Madison Freedom of Information Act Award, and in 2010 took second place for local news coverage from the California Newspaper Publishers Association.
