Richard Swann is the managing editor of Platts oil and gas news in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Richard joined Platts in 1996 to launch the company's European Natural Gas Report from London, and now manages a team of journalists reporting news from across the region for real-time and print publications, covering areas ranging from exploration and production to OPEC and the corporate oil and gas sector.
Richard is a graduate in modern languages from the University of Bristol, and speaks fluent French and Spanish.
